Passing of Prof. Shamsher Prakash, Honorary Editor of ISSMGE International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories
The ISSMGE International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories is very saddened to hear the news of Professor Shamsher Prakash passing. Professor Shamsher Prakash has been a leader in the field and information about his contributions can be found in many places, including here. Prof. Prakash was the founder of the successful Case Histories conference series. He, along with Professor Ralph Peck was a strong advocate for the need to establish the International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories. In recognition for his leadership in the documentation of Case Histories, Prof. Prakash was an Honorary Editor of the ISSMGE International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories. He will be sorely missed.
